Who can get a card
Any resident within the East Alton Public Library District. If you have questions about what library district you lie within please call us. (618) 258-0787

How to Get Your Card
Bring a picture ID and a piece of mail with your current address to the library.

Borrowing Limits
Adults have a limit of 10 CDs, CD-ROMs, or CD-books and a limit of 5 DVDs or VHS.  Youth cannot check out DVD or VHS.

Placing Holds
There is currently a limit of twenty holds that can be placed on any account.

Renewing Your Borrowed Items
Print materials and Audio items can be renewed up to two times; while DVD & VHS titles cannot be renewed under any circumstance.

Library Fines
25¢ per item, per day
