iPad/iPhone

  1. Go to the iTunes store app.

Android Devices

  1. Go to the Google Play store app.

Nook Devices

  1. Go to the Barnes & Noble store app.

Google Chrome Web Browser on Windows PC / Mac

  1. Go to the Google Play website.

Kindle Fire

* If apps from unknown sources have not already been enabled, this can be done by going to the settings menu, clicking “Security” or “Device,” and turning on the option to allow apps from unknown sources.

Kindle HD

* If apps from unknown sources have not already been enabled, this can be done by scrolling down from the top of the screen, going to the Quick Settings menu, tapping “More,” tapping “Settings” or “Applications,” and turning on the option to allow apps from unknown sources.

  2. Search for and download the cloudLibrary app.

  3. Select Country & State

  4. Select "Illinois Heartland Library System."

  5. Enter your library barcode number and PIN. If you do not know your PIN, you can call the library for assistance.

  6. Select “Search” to browse popular titles and recommended lists.

  7. To find specific titles, authors, creators, or keywords, use the keyword search bar found at the top of the screen.

  8. Check an item out by selecting “Borrow” or join the waiting list by selecting “Hold.” You can also save the item to borrow at a later time by selecting “Save for later.”
