What are the Reading Dragons & Friends?

Reading Dragons and Friends is a reading incentive program for school age children that rewards them for reading, with collectible cards featuring dragons, griffins and even unicorns!

Kids can log their daily reading and participate in special events to earn cards, which they can then use to play games! Children of any age can register. No library card or residency requirements.

How Do I Get Started?

First, come by the library and grab a Reading Dragons & Friends reading tracker and your starter cards. Next, mark 1 square on the tracker for each day read. Once you've completed 4 days of reading (a full row), you can bring your tracker to the Library and pick out your cards! You can only earn 4 sets of cards each month, but don't let that stop you from reading!

For each row you complete, you will get a set of 4 matching cards: an egg, baby, teen, and adult dragon.
